About us

Working from 3 purpose built and well equipped sites with Four Crosses and Llanfyllin being the main hubs of care, we provide a high level of patient care and have a strong track record of developing services locally for our very supportive patients.

We are a training practice at all levels from Doctors to receptionists and have a large multidisciplinary team. Allowing people to develop their ideas and build on clinical strengths is a priority for us as well as having someone who respects the vital part that every member of the primary care team brings to effective patient care.

There are 7 GP partners, 3 salaried GPs and a regular locum as needed. Most of us work part time and all have special interests. We always work together and there is always someone in the next room to mull over an issue, have a quick chat to help the day go by. We get on well and generally pass ideas between us and thrash out clinical and non clinical problems in a non judgemental manner where everyones opinion counts.

Our prescribing Pharmacist provides medical expertise and supports our training and clinical workload and alongside we have 5 Nurse Practitioners, 5 Practice Nurses and 3 HCA's.

A strong management team who make everyone's life easier and a wider MDT of District Nurses on site and proactive working with our community therapies, palliative team, social services and voluntary sector ensure our patients are proactively managed and supported in our community.
