Job summary
Salary Available on Application
6 sessions a week
We are excited to be advertising for a new salaried GP position at our fantastic practice in Penarth. The successful candidate(s) would be joining a very friendly, hard working and very motivated team, providing care to approximately 9400 patients in the Eastern Vale cluster.
Main duties of the job
Ideally, we are looking to recruit one or more GPs, to cover 5-6 sessions. For the right candidate(s) we are open to negotiation on number of sessions and start date.
The successful applicant may be newly qualified or very experienced, all we ask from the right candidate is that they are driven, enthusiastic and with a vision of how they see primary care moving forward in the coming years.
About us
We are a well-managed and organised practice, established within the Eastern Vale Collaboration (EVC) of Cardiff & Vale University Health Board. Currently we have a list size of circa 9,400. One of our partners is the Vale Constituency Lead for the Bro Taf LMC.
We provide a full range of enhanced services to our patients including minor surgery, LARC/Coil contraception, nursing home enhanced care and shared care monitoring.
We currently have 3 partners and 3 salaried GPs who between them provide 33 sessions and 4 part time nurses equivalent to 2.29 WTE. We have recently employed a P/T Clinical Pharmacist to support our team.
We have an ambition to become a training practice and would hope that all our GPs would have a keenness to help train the GPs of the future.
