4 to 10 sessions a week

We are looking for a motivated, enthusiastic and reliable Salaried GP to join our team to provide outstanding medical care to our practice population of 12,000 patients.

Bro Pedr Medical Group has two sites; Taliesin Surgery which is our main site in the University town of Lampeter, and a branch Surgery 5 miles away in Llanybydder, both being close to the Ceredigion coast and 40 minutes' drive from Aberystwyth and Carmarthen.

Main duties of the job

The post-holder will undertake a variety of duties, including but not limited to:

  • Face to Face consultations

  • Telephone consultations

  • Dealing with day to day queries

  • Visiting patients at home

  • Checking and signing repeat prescriptions

  • Ensure accurate medical records for all patients are maintained

Furthermore, the post-holder will adhere to the GMC standards for good medical practice, contributing to the effective management of the practice, leading by example and maintaining a positive, collaborative working relationship with the multidisciplinary team.
