Job summary
West Quay Medical Centre is offering an exciting opportunity to become part of an expanding and developing Pharmacy Team. You will be joining a large training practice with a culture of development and improvement as well as a well-established and experienced Clinical Pharmacist. This makes this post an ideal opportunity for a Pharmacist looking to branch their career into General Practice or looking to work as part of an evolving Pharmacy team.
Main duties of the job
Ideally this individual will be responsible for optimising the use of patients' medicines within the Practice, undertaking activities such as medicines reconciliation, face to face/telephone medication reviews, drug monitoring, clinical audits and dealing with medication queries.
You must be a registered pharmacist with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC); and you should be able to demonstrate excellent organisational and time management skills. The successful candidate will be able to prioritise workload, work independently, build key relationships and be confident interacting with a wide range of stakeholders such as GPs, Practice Nurses, secondary care clinicians and patients.
