Job summary

Are you an experienced Band 5 Pharmacy Technician looking for a new opportunity? Oxford University NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a talented Pharmacy Technician to be part of the Pharmacy team providing a near-patient medicines management service to clinical areas.

Main duties of the job

To improve the quality of care to patients in a clinical area by means of an efficient medicines management system.

To be an active member of the Pharmacy department and ensure continuous two-way exchange of information to maintain high standards of medicines within the Trust.

To work in the cancer centre pharmacy satellite or Horton, supplying, counselling and providing a comprehensive pharmacy service to day case and outpatients on a daily basis.

In addition to experience, all Qualified roles will be required to provide evidence of:

  • Relevant Qualifications
  • Registration with the relevant Registration Body if applicable.
