Job description

Job responsibilities

To contribute to the development of the Physiotherapist service in your area of specialism and to participate in the review and updating of policies and procedures.

To provide clinical support for Physiotherapist staff to develop their skills in the area of specialism through training, second opinions, and joint working, while supervising assistants, PT students, and less experienced Physiotherapists.

To manage your own caseload in a range of settings, providing highly specialist interventions and offering information to parents, carers, and other professionals.

To maintain continuous professional development in your area of specialism and to inform the Clinical Quality Leads and Team Leads of the impact of research, policy, etc., on local policies and procedures.

To participate and promote Clinical Governance, thus ensuring the highest quality of practice is maintained, within the service.

Qualifications

Essential

  • HCPC registered.
  • Degree In Physiotherapy or equivalent.
  • Registered member of British Association of OT/Chartered Society of Physiotherapists.
  • Previous Experience of working as Paediatric Physiotherapist in NHS with System One knowledge.
  • UK Driving License and Car Owner.
