Job responsibilities
In this role you will:

You will independently manage, triage and prioritise own
caseload providing specialist speech and language therapy assessment,
formulation, diagnosis, intervention and advice based on evidence-based
practice for people with communication and/or dysphagia needs, their families,
carers, support staff and professionals.

You will have the ability to train
and motivate other staff members.

You will use your clinical skills to generate written
reports reflecting specialist knowledge.

You will provide appropriate specialist intervention
and evaluate outcomes. To use skills to generate appropriate strategies for
caseload management for complex clinical issues.

Essential
- What you'll need and be able to provide evidence for-
- You must possess knowledge of Dysphagia training
- Demonstrable clinical experience with either adult Mental Health client group or learning disability client group
- You will be a Qualified Band 6 Speech and Language Therapist with a minimum of 2 years experience
- Desirable Experience in training other staff members
- Desirable Experience in community work
- You will have an understanding of forensic/ locked working environments and associated risks
