Are you an experienced Band 6 Speech and
Language Therapist looking for a new opportunity? North London NHS Foundation
Trust are seeking a talented Speech and Language Therapist to join a welcoming
and highly regarded team for a temporary placement.

Job responsibilities
In this role you will:

You will provide
Physiotherapy and Speech and Language Therapy, as well as SLAs for Dietetics
and Podiatry and work in collaboration with established teams.

You will evaluate, modify,
and implement interventions using highly developed clinical reasoning, critical
thinking, and problem-solving skills to ensure safe, effective treatment plans
that align with best-practice evidence, service users needs, and family choice.

You will utilise
highly specialist knowledge and skills to provide assessment, diagnosis, and
management to services users with physical health presentations.

You will take
responsibility for all aspects of speech and language therapy assessment, diagnosis and management of service users
with Mental Health conditions to their needs.

- What youll need and be able to provide evidence for:
- -You must possess a degree-level professional qualification in Speech and Language Therapy.
- -You will have taken part in high level post-graduate courses in related area of expertise.
- -You will be a Registered member of RCSLT and HCPC
- -You must have demonstrable Experience of working within multi-professional therapy teams, including with service users who have mental health presentations.
- -You must have extensive post-grad experience of managing complex caseloads in acute settings.
- -You must be able to work across and travel between partnership sites as required
- -You will have undertaken previous experience in managing people with dysphagia.
