Job responsibilities

In this role you will:

- You will provide Physiotherapy and Speech and Language Therapy, as well as SLAs for Dietetics and Podiatry and work in collaboration with established teams.

- You will evaluate, modify, and implement interventions using highly developed clinical reasoning, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills to ensure safe, effective treatment plans that align with best-practice evidence, service users needs, and family choice.

- You will utilise highly specialist knowledge and skills to provide assessment, diagnosis, and management to services users with physical health presentations.

- You will take responsibility for all aspects of speech and language therapy assessment, diagnosis and management of service users with Mental Health conditions to their needs.

  • What youll need and be able to provide evidence for:
  • -You must possess a degree-level professional qualification in Speech and Language Therapy.
  • -You will have taken part in high level post-graduate courses in related area of expertise.
  • -You will be a Registered member of RCSLT and HCPC
  • -You must have demonstrable Experience of working within multi-professional therapy teams, including with service users who have mental health presentations.
  • -You must have extensive post-grad experience of managing complex caseloads in acute settings.
  • -You must be able to work across and travel between partnership sites as required
  • -You will have undertaken previous experience in managing people with dysphagia.
