within the Hertfordshire Community Trust.
This role is to work with the inpatient therapy
team at Queen Victoria Memorial (QVM) Hospital. QVM is a 21 bedded unit based
in Welwyn Village, Hertfordshire and specialises in the rehabilitation of a
variety of pathologies including falls, orthopaedics, general medical, plus
size, and amputees. The majority of patients follow a 17-day rehab pathway.
You will work closely
with a supportive and friendly team of Physiotherapists, Ots and Rehabilitation
Assistants as well as the wider MDT in the delivery of a rehabilitation
package. You will provide skilled assessment and treatment sessions to support
the individuals rehabilitation and discharge planning. You will get a Free
on-site parking & Access to specialist rehabilitation equipment.
Main duties of the job
To deliver a complex
package of high-quality healthcare including assessment, diagnosis, treatment,
and advice to patients with various needs including orthopaedics, care of the
elderly, neurology. To provide expert advice, guidance and information to health
and social care professionals, carers, and relatives. To deputise for the Lead
Therapist, as necessary.

- Manage and assess clinical risks within your patient group, maintaining comprehensive and accurate records in line with legal, departmental, and Trust protocols.
