Join the team at South Tyneside and Sunderland NHS Foundation Trust as a Band 7 MSK Physiotherapist. They are seeking a dedicated professional to deliver high-quality, evidence-based musculoskeletal assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and care.

Main duties of the job

To work as an autonomous practitioner for patients presenting with MSK conditions or symptoms providing patients with primary assessment, diagnosis and management of their conditions within tier one and tier two of SIMS.

To use advanced clinical skills and clinical reasoning to provide comprehensive diagnostic and treatment to support to patients who present with simple and complex MSK conditions

To work across Primary and Community services within SIMS ensuring an integrated care pathway for individual patients that meets their needs where appropriate. This will include directly providing self-management and advice and/or referral to other secondary care services.

To take an active role in developing effective communication between Primary care services, secondary care services and other relevant care providers.
