To be successful in applying for this role you will need:

  • BSc Psychology (or equivalent recognised by BPS) and post-graduate doctorate training or statement of equivalence from BPS.
  • Doctoral level training in Clinical, Counselling or Health Psychology.
  • Ability to effectively manage a clinical caseload alongside other professional responsibilities.
  • Experience of working with MDT teams in a medical setting
  • High level of written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to adapt communication for different audiences and convey complex and sensitive information.
  • Interest in or experience of working with people with gastrointestinal conditions.
  • Knowledge of risk assessment within medical settings.

It would also be desirable to have:

  • Additional training in approaches valuable in health settings e.g. ACT, CFT, EMDR.
  • Experience of supervising qualified and trainee psychologists.
  • Familiarity with working remotely as well as face to face.

In addition to experience, all Qualified roles will be required to provide evidence of:

  • Relevant Qualifications
  • Registration with the relevant Registration Body
