Job responsibilities
To
formulate and implement plans for CBT and/or third wave therapy and/or
management of a clients complex mental health needs.
To
be responsible for implementing CBT and/or third wave with individuals, carers,
families, and groups by adjusting and refining model based
psychological
formulations and interventions.
To
contribute to new methods of service delivery as appropriate, in order to
encourage optimal opportunities for access to services for a vulnerable client
group.
To
exercise professional responsibility for the assessment and treatment of
complex clients from psychological therapy.
To
contribute directly and indirectly to a psychologically based framework of
understanding and care to the benefit of all clients of the service area for
which the post-holder is responsible, across all appropriate settings and
agencies.
To
undertake risk assessment and risk management for individual clients and to
provide advice to other professions on psychological aspects of risk assessment
and risk management.

- Current registration with Professional Body appropriate to qualifications

- In addition to experience, all Qualified roles will be required to provide evidence of:

- Registration with the relevant Registration Body

- Knowledge of psychological theory and practice relevant to the perinatal period
- Experience of undertaking assessment, formulation, risk assessment and positive risk management
