Job Title: IT Technical Service Specialist

Pay: £19.10 per hour

Hours: 37.5 hours a week

Location: Rotherham Hospital, S60 2UD (Hybrid role 2 days per week on site/ 3 days WFH)

Main duties of the job

Ensure that incidents assigned to the Technical Services team are dealt with in accordance with the departments Incident Management procedures.

On a rotational basis, to act as incident manager for the Technical Services team

Ensure accurate and up-to-date record keeping and the pro-active reporting across all technical infrastructures (particularly server and storage)

Identify, report up and track emerging issues which may or may not have the potential to impact upon service availability or business resilience.

Maintenance and support of physical server infrastructure and operating systems.

Maintenance and support of virtual server environment.

Maintenance and support of network storage (SAN).
