About the Trust

Camden and Islington NHS Foundation Trust (C&I) provides high quality, safe and innovative care to our patients in the community, in their homes or in hospital.

We provide services for adults of working age, adults with learning difficulties, and older people in the London area. We currently deliver most of our care to residents in the London Boroughs of Camden and Islington.However, we also providesubstance misuse services in Westminster,and a substance misuse and psychological therapies service to people living in Kingston.

Main duties of the job

Part of the operational People Services Hub team provide first line support to managers and employees within the partnership on all people issues across both AfC and Medical workforces.

Can sign of Timesheets for Bank staff and order Stationary.

Provides and delivers training to managers and other team members on HR policies and procedures and responsible for the delivery of range of HR services, around terms and conditions, recruitment, employee relations and medical workforce policies

Ensure that all SOPs for the department are up to date, and act as subject matter expert

In conjunction with the outsourced recruitment service, support the processing of all recruitment related correspondence and documentation ensuring efficient and accurate completion of safe recruitment procedures for designated areas to include advertising vacancies, shortlisting, preparing and issuing contracts, in line with employment legislation.

Prepare contracts of employment for signature and issue with new starter packs including Trust Induction details, ensuring new start details are disseminated to the appropriate departments. Prepare amendments to contracts as and when required.
