Surrey & Borders Partnership NHS Foundation Trust Based at Farnham Road Hospital, Guildford GU2 7LX with travel to various sites. Band 7 £26.88/hr 37.5 HPW Monday to Friday 08.00-16.00 Travelling involved a full UK driving licence is required.

Overview

The successful candidate will be able to help shape projects, working closely with directors and senior managers, and lead effective project teams including internal resources and external suppliers.

You will be able to roll up your sleeves and get involved in different aspects of projects.

Main duties of the job

Be responsible for the project management of all building fabric and equipment to the estate within the Trusts Establishments.

Ensure the efficient and safe operation of all buildings and engineering plant, equipment and services; including statutory inspections governing pressure vessels, lifts, hoists, medical gas pipeline systems, water systems, medical devices, ventilation, electrical (HV/LV), etc., operation and issue of permit to work systems and other safe systems of work.

Provide technical support to estates staff and contractors on issues that are complex and non-routine, as well as BAU PPE maintenance projects.

To plan, prioritise and adjust several complex activities or programmes, liaising with user, contractors and specialist agencies together with subcontractors and external stakeholders.

Provide quotations to other departments based on time and material costs, and to collect, collate and assimilate technical information to support the departments governance records of maintenance activities.

Maintain electronic and other forms of records as required to demonstrate compliance and regularly self-audit such for adherence.

Issue and/or ensure all permits for work are adequately in place, managed and recorded.

Produce contracts and specifications relating to building and engineering schemes and term contracts.
