Rotherham Hospital which is situated just two miles south of Rotherham town Centre, within proximity to the M1 and M18 motorways, six miles from Sheffield and close to Doncaster. We are an innovative, high performing organisation which continues to develop and grow at great pace.

Main duties of the job

Provide efficient and effective employee relations casework management processes, including disciplinary, grievance, bullying and harassment, performance and attendance management. Supporting managers as an investigatory team or on a panel, taking part in meetings and formal hearing and producing notes, formal minutes and reports. Ensuring this is compliant with law, policy and good practice.

Alongside the Business Partners or Senior HR Advisors, support managers to enact change management interventions including contractual changes and behavioural / cultural changes. Formal consultation on straightforward organisational matters, including trade union engagement.

Provide specialist advice, support and guidance to stakeholders throughout the Trust on a range of comprehensive workforce matters including employee relations, engagement, equality and diversity, resourcing and retention, reward and pay, and terms and conditions. Advise managers, employees and trade union representatives as required.

Facilitate low levels of sickness absence through the analysis of absence data, identifying trends and issues, working closely with managers and the Occupational Health team, and guiding managers through formal sickness absence, redeployment and capability procedures.

Support the Business Partner / Senior HR Advisors in ensuring that the HR policies and procedures are up to date and in line with legal requirements and good practice.
