Main duties of the job
- The post-holder will work with the IT Administrator with purchasing and order processing requirements for the EPR programme team and IT teams.
- This is a central function and involves actioning and progressing order requests as an end-to-end activity including receipting and invoicing.
- You will be required to review contractual information to ensure accuracy and agreed service level targets and deadlines are met.
- Ensuring the trust procurement and financial processes (SFIs) are adhered to by the requesting department.
- Liaising with external suppliers by email and phone
- Be a central point of advice for purchasing.
- Good stakeholder management and communication skills are required. You will be working with both technical and non-technical audiences for their purchasing requests.
- Work closely with EPR programme, IT department, Procurement and Finance and support them across the Trust.
