About the Trust
Sheffield Childrens NHS Foundation Trust is one of only three dedicated childrens hospital trusts in the UK and provides integrated healthcare for children and young people, including community and mental health care as well as acute and specialist services. We provide a full range of services for residents of Sheffield and South Yorkshire as well as specialised services for patients from across the United Kingdom.
Main duties of the job
All recruitment of junior doctors and middle grades for the Care Group, ensuring effective processes in place for the timely recruitment of doctors and effective liaison with HR colleagues
Co-ordinate the recruitment of Consultants within the Care Group, through liaison with AAC (Advisory Appointment Committee RCPCH), Clinical leads, DDMs and HR colleagues. Ensure all timescales are clearly communicated and achieved.
Develop a good working knowledge of Trac and support the Care group managers & clinical leads with the finance and HR processes around job approvals & advertisements.
Manage & develop the post- recruitment processes within the care group, including liaison with HR, IT and speciality leads. Good clear communication with the new candidate. Liaise with Clinical leads & DDMs to develop a local induction.
Support Clinical Leads and Rota Coordinators on the preparation and circulation of medical staffing rotas, ensuring all clinical areas have appropriate medical cover.
Support the Care Group Management Team to ensure resources are utilised effectively and efficiently to facilitate patient safety.
