Shift Patterns: 37.5 hours - Monday to Friday 09:00 to 17:15

In this
role you will:

You will participate in the
on-going development of the Pharmacy Technicians role in Medicines
Optimisation for both inpatient wards and community teams

You will undertake duties of a
technical nature, including the dispensing, checking and supply of medication
to individual patients

You will monitor and supervise
the work of pharmacy assistants and act as practice supervisors for trainee
pharmacy professionals
-
You will take accurate medication
histories from patients on admission and carry out medicines reconciliation
What youll
need and be able to provide evidence for:
- You must possess an active
registration as a registered Pharmacy Technician with the GPhC

You must possess an accreditation in Medicines Management

You must be an accredited Accuracy Checking Pharmacy Technician

You must have demonstrable experience in Medicines reconciliation
