We are seeking to hear from HCPC registered therapists from a range of clinical areas including stammering, autism, DLD, Speech, neuro-disability and Dysphagia. Candidates can have experience in more generalist or specialist roles.
The ideal candidate/s will support the clinical work of the childrens team by completing initial assessments, reviews, delivering interventions, writing advice for EHCPs and responding to telephone calls/tasks etc. We have sessions available in County Durham, Darlington, Hartlepool or Stockton. If you are looking for additional clinical hours in the NHS please apply. We can be flexible with caseloads/clinical work, working hours and location.
Main duties of the job
Manage a caseload of children with complex communication needs, conducting assessments, developing, and implementing care plans.
Provide specialist advice and support to less experienced colleagues and supervise assistant practitioners as required.
Work collaboratively with schools, families, and healthcare providers to ensure a holistic approach to treatment.
Contribute to service development, clinical governance, and participate in ongoing research and audit projects.
