Job summary

Are you a skilled and experienced Radiographer with a passion for breast imaging? Join East and North Hertfordshire NHS Trust and become a key part of our expert breast care team. They are seeking a Band 8C Mammographer who will provide leadership and advanced clinical practice in breast imaging services.

Main duties of the job

Deliver expert breast imaging services, including mammography interpretation, ultrasound, and breast interventional procedures (biopsies, cyst aspirations, etc.).

Provide clinical leadership, support and consultancy to the breast imaging team and collaborate with other healthcare professionals including radiologists, surgeons, oncologists, and pathologists.

Participate in and present breast imaging findings at multidisciplinary team (MDT) meetings.

Ensure the highest standard of patient care, maintaining dignity, privacy, and confidentiality at all times.

Lead the development of breast imaging protocols and contribute to research, audit, and service development.
