Job Title: Mental Health Practitioner

Trust: Sheffield Childrens NHSFT

Location: The Becton Centre for Children and Young People

Ward:Becton Lodges (Sapphire, Emerald and Ruby)

Pay Rates: £ 21.80 Per hour

Shift Patterns: Monday Friday 9.00am 17.00pm

What you can add:

Provide specialist CAMHS consultation, assessment and interventions to Early Help Services

Undertake mental health assessments with other members of the Early Help services

Formulating packages of care to meet the mental health needs of children and families.

Provide universal group work to professionals, parents or young people to promote good mental health and problem prevention.

What youll need:

Post registration experience within a CAMHS/Mental Health Setting

Experience working with children and young people

Current nursing, social work or OT registration

Post registration clinical training relevant to CAHMS or MH

Knowledge and skills

Essential

• Knowledge of a range of therapeutic interventions
• Legal Frameworks relevant to CAMHS
• Health and Safety
• Risk assessment/management
• Current CAMHS practice/issues
• Self -management and organisation
• Excellent communication/interpersonal skills (verbal and written)
• Specific clinical interventions/strategies
• Liaison, negotiation and influencing
• Hold a current UK driving licence and have access to a vehicle
