The Northern Care Alliance are looking for an organised Laboratory Assistant to join their team based at Salford Royal. Are you passionate about working in a scientific environment? Are you looking for flexibility in a role? If so, wed love to hear from you.

We are looking for individuals who are able to undertake laboratory-based work on their own as well as working as part of a team.

Responsibilities include

Work within the Pathology Quality Management System and conform to related accreditation standards in all aspects of work to ensure the delivery of a safe, efficient & patient focused service

Maintain clinical records in relation to activities carried out and input/interrogate tests results of others.

Perform general house-keeping duties including safe disposal of waste, general cleaning and tidying.

What youll need

Foundation Degree or equivalent

Education to NVQ3/A Level or equivalent

Hospital experience within Microtomy is Essential
