Main duties of the job

What youll be responsible for:

You will treat patients with critical illnesses from all specialties, medical and surgical, as well as giving post-operative support for planned, major surgery. This care will include:

Assessing and monitoring patient conditions

Checking symptoms and vital signs and arranging diagnostic tests

Recognising, responding to, and managing emergency situations

Planning, delivering and evaluating standards of evidence-based nursing care

The role will involve, but not be limited to you performing the above.

As North Derbyshire's only acute district general hospital, Chesterfield Royal Hospital NHS Foundation Trust are responsible for providing a full range of acute services as well as providing community midwifery, specialist childrens services and a 24-hour Emergency Department.   • Be committed to undertaking regular mandatory training
