Main duties of the job

What you'll be responsible for:

  • You will be involved in providing a high level of safe and effective care.
  • Be responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of care.
  • Adhere to all Trust policies, procedures and guidelines.
  • Liaise with the multidisciplinary team.
  • Provide mentorship and support to others.
  • The role will involve, but not be limited to you performing the above.

  • To raise awareness of Mental Health issues in the workplace.

  • To refer to multidisciplinary team within Occupational Health and other outside agencies / GP where necessary
  • OHWS provide short-term intervention only, for a maximum of six to eight sessions.
  • To provide specialist risk assessment following referral (manager or client).
  • To assist in identifying collective health needs within specific groups.
  • To provide specialist advice verbal and/or written reports following assessment to other health professionals, managers, staff and clients.

The role will involve, but not be limited to you performing the above.

What you'll need:

Qualifications:

  • RMN qualified
  • CBT qualification
  • EMDR qualification

Experience :

  • Significant post registration experience
  • Evidence based practice
  • Community experience
  • Short term therapeutic interventions
  • Drug alcohol knowledge
