We are currently seeking a motivated and dedicated Pharmacy Dispensing Assistant and QC Tech Support to join our Aseptic Services team. This role is integral to our mission of providing exceptional healthcare services, and it offers a unique opportunity to develop your skills within a specialized environment.
Role Summary
As a Pharmacy Dispensing Assistant and QC Tech Support in Aseptic Services, you will play a key role in supporting the preparation and quality control of aseptic products. Your responsibilities will include ensuring the accurate dispensing of medications, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety within the aseptic unit, and supporting the quality control processes essential for patient safety.
Main duties of the job
Key Responsibilities
- Dispensing Support: Accurately dispense medications under the supervision of a registered pharmacist, ensuring that all prescriptions are processed according to the established protocols and guidelines.
- Quality Control: Assist in the quality control processes within the Aseptic Services unit, including the preparation and maintenance of sterility in the cleanroom environment. Perform in-process checks to ensure the integrity and quality of aseptic products.
- Aseptic Preparation: Support the preparation of sterile products, including chemotherapy and parenteral nutrition, in compliance with standard operating procedures (SOPs) and GMP regulations.
- Stock Management: Manage stock levels within the aseptic unit, ensuring the timely ordering and replenishment of supplies. Monitor inventory to prevent shortages and assist in the stock control processes.
- Data Management: Maintain accurate records of all dispensing and quality control activities. Ensure that all documentation is completed in a timely manner and is in compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Training and Development: Participate in ongoing training to develop your skills in aseptic techniques and quality control. Support the training of junior staff and new team members as needed.
