Ward/Dept: Community Neuro

Hours: Full time 37.5 hours per week, or less

Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday, fulltime or parttime

Pay Rates Day: £22.89

The Role

The Hertfordshire Community Trust community neuro team are looking for a Band 6 Occupational Therapist or Physiotherapist to support the team to cover a secondment. The role will require the ability to drive and access a car as the team covers the East and North of the county. The main base is in Welwyn, near Welwyn Garden city, but depending on your location, you may be able to work primarily in an area of the county closest to your home.

The Stroke Team delivering care in patients homes across the East and North of Hertfordshire to patients who have been recently discharged home from hospital following a strokes and or with our Neuro outpatient team which is a combination of clinic bases and home visits for the wider neuro population, common conditions seen in this team are MS, Parkinsons, and Rare and Rapid diseases.

Both teams provide excellent support with experienced senior staff, and work as a wider MDT with the support of Physio, Clinical Psychology, specialist nursing and SALT.
