Main duties of the job

We have an ongoing, long-term placement available for aWarehouse Operativeto join our friendly team in Warwick.

What youll be responsible for:

  • Receive daily deliveries. Ensuring full quality checks, count and general storage of items are completed.
  • Manual Handling of stock by hand and/or using a pallet truck/flatbed or roll cage.
  • Quality check of goods including damage, missing lines and expired stock.
  • Delivering goods and other medical items to various locations through the laboratory in a timely manner.

  • Managing direct calls and emails from areas requesting goods and responding professionally.

Youll have the following skills/experience:

  • Previous experience in a warehouse or in retail would be highly advantageous.
  • Forklift License
  • Basic numeracy skills.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Ability to quickly learn the role and work at pace.
