Job summary

Doctors Gateway are recruiting Doctors, specialising in Emergency Medicine to relocate to the United Kingdom (UK) and work for one of our NHS partner Trusts.

Main duties of the job

The candidate will conduct general in-patient clinics in the urgent care department. You will work with colleagues to ensure middle grade cover 24/7 in the Emergency Department. A formal job plan will be agreed between the appointee and the Clinical Director at the commencement date of the appointee.

The 10+2 =12 PA contract consists of 11 Direct Clinical Care and one professional development (SPA) You will be expected to show evidence of effective use of the SPA to develop him/herself or service in the department. You will provide twenty-four-hour middle grade cover. The rota is compliant and is self-rostered in line with current RCEM recommendations to facilitate work life balance in Emergency department.

MBChB or equivalent qualification.

MRCEM

Full General Medical Council Registration and Licence to Practise.

Have completed at least four years full-time postgraduate training (or its equivalent gained on a part-time or flexible basis) at least two of which will be in a specialty training programme in a relevant specialty (e.g. emergency and/or acute medicine) or as a fixed term specialty trainee in a relevant specialty; or shall have equivalent experience and competencies (suitable for ST3 and above applications).

Relevant experience and skills from working in Emergency Medicine.

Ability to work well within a team and on your own.

Demonstrable organisational and time management skills.

A genuine interest in the specialty solid Emergency Medicine experience to allow the successful applicant to work at a middle-grade level.

Successfully completed and achieved a pass mark in English from either OET (level B in reading, speaking, listening, and writing C+) or IELTS Academic (level 7 in reading, speaking, and listening and level 6.5 in writing)
