Job summary

Doctors Gateways partnered Trust is looking to appoint a General Medicine SPR Doctor who will support and share their values that delivers safe effective care to the local population Situated in Midlands.

You will have a designated clinical supervisor during your appointment and opportunities for support by trained mentors. Regular timetabled teaching sessions will take place to support the service-based learning. There is an active Postgraduate Medical Education Centre as part of a dynamic Education and Training directorate, that is developing multi-professional training

Qualifications

Essential

  • Full General Medical Council Registration and Licence to Practise.
  • MRCP
  • MBChB or equivalent qualification.
  • Have completed at least four years full-time postgraduate training (or its equivalent gained on a part-time or flexible basis) at least two of which will be in a specialty training programme in a relevant specialty (e.g. emergency and/or acute medicine) or as a fixed term specialty trainee in a relevant specialty; or shall have equivalent experience and competencies (suitable for ST3 and above applications).
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral Ability to work well within a team, both leadership & followership skills.
  • Demonstrable organisational and time management skills.
  • A genuine interest in Gen Med and continues experience in this field to allow the successful applicant to work at a middle-grade level.
  • Successfully completed and achieved a pass mark in English from either OET (level B in reading, speaking, listening, and writing C+) or IELTS Academic (level 7 in reading, speaking, and listening and level 6.5 in writing)
