Hours: Full time 37.5 hours per week
Shift Pattern: Monday Friday, 8am-4pm, (30-minute lunch break)
Pay Rates Day: £19.10
The Role
We are looking to recruit flexible, enthusiastic, and motivated staff to our Outpatient Physiotherapy Team. We have two exciting full-time opportunities for suitably experienced, dynamic and enthusiastic Physiotherapists to join our forward thinking and highly regarded musculoskeletal Outpatient Physiotherapy Team.
These full-time posts are at Band 6 level, primarily based at the West Hertfordshire Therapy Unit, Jacketts Field, Abbots Langley site. There may however expectation to work from home or from our other main hospital sites, as and when required.
The successful candidates will be supported by a Therapy Team Lead as well as Band 8 and 7 clinical Physiotherapists through a well-established probation, supervision, and appraisal process. Our Band 6 tier provide robust peer support. We also offer in-service training opportunities and experience will be gained in the supervision of Band 5 Physiotherapists/other junior staff members as well as Physiotherapy students.

To provide physiotherapy care (specialist assessment and treatment), in the outpatient musculoskeletal Physiotherapy setting, at West Hertfordshire Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust.
To be responsible for the supervision, appraisal, and education of more junior physiotherapy staff within the clinical team.
To supervise, educate and assess physiotherapy students.
To participate in evidence-based audit and research projects.
To participate in virtual consultation model, when required.
To participate in an extended hours and 7 day working pattern, once/if implemented.
You will be working in a busy, friendly outpatient department seeing GP and Consultant referrals, undertaking assessment and treatment face to face and virtually.
Your caseload will include elective/trauma orthopaedic patients, and pregnancy related MSK conditions (e.g pelvic girdle pain).
You will utilise electronic patient records system to document care provided.
