The Responsibilities

If you are successful in your application to this post, you will be expected to provide specialist podiatry care for inpatients and outpatients across the Oxford University Hospitals Trust. You will be required to manage a caseload consisting of assessing, diagnosing and developing programmes of care for high-risk patients, such as those with advanced neuro-vascular, tissue viability and biomechanical problems. You will have to work and liaise collaboratively with other ward-based health professionals and patients/public in all aspects of their care and service delivery. Plus, contribute to the development of departmental policy and service delivery, to identify the need for podiatry services, evaluate priorities, service analysis, and plan/implement provision accordingly, within contractual agreements

To be successful in applying for this role you will need:

  • Enhanced DBS

  • Degree level qualification in Podiatry

  • To be registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)

  • Experience of working as part of a multidisciplinary team

  • NHS experience

  • Previous experience working in an acute setting is highly desired
