Job summary

Main duties of the job

  • To carry out the assessment of children, identifying nursing problems and needs, in partnership with their family/carer.
  • To assess risks to children, be able to recognise vulnerable children and respond in accordance with the Trust policy, seeking support from senior staff as appropriate.
  • Attend the delivery of an infant with predictable needs and safely transport and admit to SCBU.
  • Attend the delivery of an infant with complex needs and safely transport to SCBU with supervision if required.

What youll be responsible for:
