Location: Gregans House, Hitchin, SG5 1HF

Ward/Dept: North Herts ICT

Hours: Full time Up to 37.5 hours per week, can accept parttime

Shift Pattern: Mon - Fri, 8-4 or 9-5 or 8-6

Pay Rates Day: £21.80

The Role

We have an opportunity available for an Occupational Therapist to be part of an integrated health care team; to provide clinical leadership and support to the multidisciplinary team in providing care to avoid inappropriate admissions to hospital, support early hospital discharge and work with a core community caseload.

To provide assessment and treatment for patients in a community/bed-based setting.

To act as a resource and provide advice for other members of the MDT.

To develop and deliver an individualised treatment programme for patients which they can carry out within their own home and will contribute to their safe discharge.

To maintain physiotherapy records and ensure others do the same.

To undertake a clinical caseload to a high professional standard, using knowledge

and skills from theoretical and practical experience.
