Hours: 37.5H, Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm

Pay rate: £22.89+ Per Hour

Main duties of the job

Working within the Older Peoples Community Mental Health Team, you will offer assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and support for people over 65 who present with functional mental health illnesses. You will be working with doctors, mental health nurses, occupational therapists, psychologists, social care practitioners and support workers. The team also works closely with other services, such as social care, as well as with the voluntary sector, particularly the Alzheimers Society, to provide positive support for people using services.

  • To be successful in applying for this role you will need:
  • Have a professional qualification in Mental Health Nursing, Social Work or Occupational Therapy and have a current registration with the appropriate registration body (Nursing and Midwifery Council, Social Work England or Health and Care Professions Council).
  • Have the suitable experience in a mental health setting or have at least 2 years of post-qualifying experience within the mental health field.
  • In addition to experience, all Qualified roles will be required to provide evidence of
  • Relevant Qualifications
  • Registration with the relevant Registration Body if applicable.
