We are recruiting for a Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner at Greater Manchester Mental Health (Primary Care Psychology - Bolton).
Rated Good in their most recent CQC report, Greater Manchester Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust, (GMMH) provides inpatient and community-based mental health care for Bolton, Manchester, Salford, Trafford and Wigan. Main duties of the job
Psychological wellbeing practitioners (PWPs) are trained to assess and support people with common mental health problems (mainly anxiety disorders and depression); you will help them to manage their recovery.
Youll work within NHS Talking Therapies for Anxiety and Depression (formerly IAPT). With them, you will provide evidence-based therapies for people with anxiety and depression.
You will provide treatment for adults from many different backgrounds and will work with a range of professionals in physical health, mental health and social care as well as with community organisations.
You will support individuals with the following:
Carrying out risk assessments
Providing phone, online or face-to-face support
Liaising with other agencies and signposting patients to useful services, such as housing and employment

To collate and analyse performance data as necessary
To develop effective relationships with a range of external organisations and agencies

To keep accurate and up to date records of clients records
Ensure the maintenance of standards of practice according to SHS and any relevant
regulation (e.g. BABCP Code of Ethics) and keep up to date on new
recommendations/guidelines set by the department of health (e.g. NHS plan, National
Service Framework, National Institute for Clinical Excellence).
In addition to experience, all Qualified roles will be required to provide evidence of
