Hours: Full time 32 hours per week

Shift Pattern: Mon, Tues, Weds, Friday

Pay Rates Day: £25.06

The Role

Are you looking for a new and exciting opportunity? Here at East and North Herts NHS Trust we are looking for a registered Dietician to come and join the team. To work within the Nutrition and Dietetic team to support both radical and palliative oncology patients throughout their treatment at Mount Vernon Cancer Centre.

To provide a high standard of evidence-based patient centred care for all referred patients. These patients will be receiving palliative and radical treatment.

To accept clinical responsibility for a caseload of both in-patients and out-patients. To organise this effectively and efficiently about clinical priorities and nonclinical responsibilities.

To undertake a comprehensive nutritional assessment of patients, including those with significant complex medical and social presentation, using investigative and analytical skills.

To request, collect and analyse relevant medical, pharmacological, social and nutritional information from patients records and other health professionals before undertaking a comprehensive nutritional assessment of patients requirements in order to plan safe and effective dietetic intervention.
