Job summary
Siam Surgery in Sudbury are looking to welcome a friendly receptionist/care navigator to their busy team.This position is for 16.5 hours worked over 3 days per week, Monday - Friday morning shifts are 7:30am 1pm and afternoon shifts are 1pm 6:30pm. We operate during enhanced hours until 8pm on Mondays and 1pm-5pm on Saturdays. Some degree of flexibility is required as occasionally you will be required to work additional or alternative hours to cover colleagues.
Main duties of the job
- Offer general assistance to the practice team and project a positive and friendly image to patients and other visitors, either in person or over the telephone and email
- Receive, assist and direct patients in accessing the appropriate service or healthcare professional in a courteous, efficient and effective way
- Undertake a variety of administrative duties to assist in the smooth running of the practice, including the provision of clerical support to clinical staff and other members of the practice team
- Facilitate effective communication between patients, members of the primary health care team, secondary care and other associated healthcare agencies
