Job summary
Vida Healthcare is seeking a community dermatology specialist nurse to join their clinical team on a part-time basis - work pattern to be confirmed.
The role is responsible for delivering high-quality, patient-centred care to individuals attending the Vida dermatology clinic.The service is split into outpatient, surgical interventions, and post-operative care and we are open to considering applications interested in the role with or without the surgical responsibilities.
Main duties of the job
- Assess, plan, deliver, and evaluate care for patients requiring dermatological surgical interventions and outpatient services, ensuring patient-centred goals are set and achieved.
- Communicate effectively with patients and carers.
- Act as an independent non-medical prescriber for dermatology patients, administering medication as required following medicines management policies.
- Advocate for patients, promoting their dignity, rights, and best interests in all aspects of care.
