Job summary
Angel Hill Surgery in Bury St Edmunds has an exciting opportunity for a medical administrator to join our team on a part-time basis, for 22.5 hours per week.
In this essential role at the practice, you will complete Subject Access Requests (SARs) and medical insurance reports using a system called iGPR, attend meetings regularly and work within a busy secretarial office.
Main duties of the job
- Maintaining insurance medical reports within current regulations
- Processing all SARS requests within the surgery
- Attend Adult and Child Safeguarding Multidisciplinary meetings which are held monthly
- Take minutes from meetings
- Respond to emails
- Maintain safeguarding admin lead role
- Send MARF and MASH referrals when required
- Complete e-learning annually
- Any other task requested by the practice manager/business manager or partner to ensure a smooth running of the surgery
- Attend and participate in team meetings with the practice manager
- To be conversant with and act in accordance with fire drills and precautions in the working area
- Adhere to all practice policies
- To be aware of and act in accordance with the surgery Health and Safety Policy.
