Medical Records Administrator

Job summary

Unity Healthcare are looking to welcome a medical records administrator to join our Unity team based either at Haverhill or Long Melford/Lavenham. The role is offered on a part-time basis for 29 hours per week.

We will make sure you are fully inducted and trained. Its important to us that you feel safe and supported in your role.

Main duties of the job

  • Summarise and code relevant information from a patients clinical records in to the practices computer system.
  • Ensure that every patient has a complete, accurate and well organised electronic medical record.
  • Check electronic records are accurate against paper records.
  • Participate in audits.
  • Manage any coding queries.
  • Report any issues to the admin lead.
