Job summary
The Grove Medical Centre located in Felixstowe are looking for an experienced nurse practitioner to work within our supportive, professional and experienced team. This position is offered on a part-time basis, ideally 3 full days each week but we are willing to negotiate for the right applicant. This is a varied role providing advanced clinical care, managing a variety of acute and chronic conditions through both face-to-face and telephone consultations whilst working independently and alongside GPs and nurses to deliver high-quality, patient-centred care. We work on an 'on the day service' which has been successfully received by our staff and patients.
Main duties of the job
- Assess, diagnose, and manage patient conditions within your scope.
- Prescribe medications as appropriate.
- Provide telephone triage and face-to-face appointments.
- Maintain accurate patient records.
- Support practice initiatives and participate in audits and training.
