Job summary
Laindon Medical Group are looking to recruit a permanent advanced nurse practitioner to join our multi-disciplinary team on a full-time basis.
The successful candidate will be an experienced healthcare professional, educated to masters level and have developed the skills and knowledge to allow them to take on an expanded role and scope of practice caring for patients. The successful candidate will demonstrate flexibility in attitude and behaviour. They will be keen to undertake new ways of working and delivering healthcare, committing to under-taking the professional development required to adapt to changing circumstances.
Main duties of the job
- Provide care for our patients, from initial history taking, clinical assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and evaluation of care.
- Act as an autonomous practitioner working independently and in conjunction with other health care professionals to assess, diagnose and treat the conditions of patients attending within primary care initiating direct referrals as appropriate.
- Provide expert professional advice to patients, carers, and colleagues to ensure the maintenance of clinical excellence.
- Develop new and innovative concepts, models, methods, and practices to deliver new and improved primary care services to meet the needs of the PCN population.

- Post-registration experience at a senior level (Band 7 or above) in specialty area
- Be able to work with a high degree of autonomy.

- Deliver a high standard of patient care, using advanced, autonomous clinical skills and a broad, in-depth, theoretical knowledge base.
