Job summary
Tiptree Medical Practice is proactively seeking an advanced nurse practitioner, on a part time basis for 20 hours per week, on a fixed term contract to cover maternity leave, to join our quest in re-balancing primary care, to be a rewarding environment for staff as well as achieving excellent patient care. We are a friendly, busy and innovative practice in north-east Essex. The team comprises of two friendly, supportive partners and 7 salaried GPs. We have an excellent nursing team comprising 4 advanced nurse practitioners (ANPs), 4 practice nurses, 2 HCAs, 2 clinical pharmacists and a pharmacy technician.
As an advanced nurse practitioner, you will have the opportunity to work autonomously, making decisions about patient care and working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals.
Main duties of the job
- Assess and treat patients with minor illnesses and injuries.
- Conduct health checks and provide routine vaccinations.
- Maintain accurate records and contribute to patient care plans.
