Job summary
John Tasker House Surgery in Great Dunmow have an exciting opportunity for an experienced practice manager to join us on a full-time basis. You will work closely with the partners to maintain and develop the vision for the practice in respect of business growth, clinical excellence and team working. You will provide leadership and management to enable the practice to achieve a strong, united team with good communication, high morale and well prepared to embrace the many challenges and demands of the ever changing NHS.
Main duties of the job
- Overall responsibility for the day-to-day running of the surgery.
- Staff management including recruitment, human resources, training, development and succession planning.
- Ensuring that the practice meets the required regulatory and contractual standards.
- Co-ordinating and leading the operational delivery of services.
- Working with patients, staff, PCN and local commissioners.
- Management of estates.
- Development and innovation of patient services and IT solutions.
- Strategic and business planning.
- Work to business and financial objectives as agreed with the partners.
