Job summary

HertsOne GP Federation are seeking a motivated individual to join the Enhanced Primary Care ADHD Mental Health service as an administrator on a part-time basis for a 12 month maternity contract. The hours will be 20 hours per week, 10am - 2pm and can be offered on a remote basis with the need to attend training and meetings in Hemel Hempstead.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing first class admin support.

Main duties of the job

  • Appointment booking arranging assessments for and on behalf of clinicians.
  • Correspondence you will have the ability to produce letters and reports to the highest standard. Medical terminology would be advantageous, however onsite training will be available.

  • This is a very fast-paced environment; therefore, the desired candidate should have the ability to work well under pressure, manage and prioritise their own workload, have excellent communication skills and work as a team player.
  • Good level of numeracy.
  • Knowledge and experience of working with those experiencing mental health and/or learning disability difficulties.
  • Be proficient in the use of computerised systems especially Word and Excel to a level to enable the production of a high standard of finished work.
  • Confident use of all Microsoft packages, especially Word/Excel and Outlook, as well as possessing a high level of computer literacy to enable you to learn and understand the various systems used by HertsOne, previous use of the clinical system Emis is useful.
