Job summary

Blyth's Meadow Surgery has a fantastic opportunity for an experienced practice nurse to join our team on a full-time basis.

Working as a member of the multidisciplinary team, the successful individual will ensure nursing services are delivered effectively to the entitled patient population and the implement processes for management of patients with long-term conditions.

Main duties of the job

  • Cervical cytology.
  • Childhood and adult vaccinations.
  • Travel vaccinations.
  • Provide wound care.
  • Infection control.
  • Chronic disease management.
  • Order vaccines and stock.

About us

Blyth's Meadow Surgery is based in Braintree and has around 10,000 patients. We have 4 partners and 2 salaried GPs andare part of Braintree PCN.

  • Experience of working within primary care environment.
  • Experience of infection control measures.
  • Sound clinical knowledge.
  • Knowledge of SystmOne is desirable although full training will be given.
