Practice Manager

Job summary

Due to retirement, we are looking to employ a full-time practice manager for our two GP practice sites in Luton, The Hockwell Ring Surgery and Britannia House Surgery, collectively known as Dr Mirza and Partners Medical Practice.

The successful candidate will have outstanding people skills and the ability to support and lead the team to provide a high standard of patient-centred care.

Main duties of the job

We are looking for an enthusiastic and proactive manager, preferably with knowledge and experience of both primary care and the locality, who is comfortable in managing people both as individuals and as part of a team. The role itself, especially when covering two sites, will require a degree of flexibility and mobility to maintain smooth day to day running of the practice.

About us

Our two GP practice sites in Luton, The Hockwell Ring Surgery (LU4 9PG) and Britannia House Surgery (LU3 1RJ), are collectively known as Dr Mirza and Partners medical practice. We are a GMS partnership with a list size of approximately 6,000 patients. Our small to medium sized practice has been established in the local community for over 30 years and has provided services to generations of patients. We aim to continue to provide excellent patient care for many years to come. We are an active member of Hatters Health Primary Care Network.
