Dental Therapist

Job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen here at Great Horkesley Dental Studio for a dedicated Dental Therapist to join our vibrant practice to support the delivery of our NHS contract.

We are looking for a part-time self-employed therapist who is confident in providing the full range of treatment and prevention within the scope of practice working one day a week Fridays 08:00-17:00.

Responsibilities:

• Carry out clinical exams
• Provide restorations on primary and secondary teeth
• Extract primary teeth
• Placing pre-formed crowns on primary teeth
• Perform preventive dental care, including cleanings and patient education.
• Assist in diagnosing and treating oral diseases
• Work with patients of all ages to promote healthy habits

Main duties of the job

• Valid dental therapy license
• Strong communication skills and a caring attitude
• Experience preferred but new graduates are welcome
